We are a group of six girl friends. And of course girls are basically fashionistas. We love to buy clothes, shoes, bags, accessories and even make-ups. There are times when we really buy things of the same kind as if we are in uniform for a dance number.

After a long time, last Saturday we did the shopping again at Greenhills Shopping Centre. There I've got my new shoes, a blazer, a black blouse, a striped sando, white shirt for my hubby, set of panties for my cousin and a toy for my baby coi.

Indeed there are vast selections to choose from at Greenhills and take note... at an affordable price. We will never get tired going back in there but for next time we just need to increase our budget.

Lately, I've been crying a lot because I am worrying a lot. I am usually afraid of some things to happen and it's taking me nowhere.

I realized I need to stay focus and think of positive things instead. Above all things, I need to pray a lot. Only in Him we can find peace and comfort.

I have asked my husband about what he thinks of me as a mother to my son Coi and I am glad he answered me positively else I would throw him out of the room tonight. Hehe!

He said that I am a caring and loving mom despite me being busy working in the office, that I can still teach my son well and I can give him all his needs.

He is glad to meet someone like me who can impose discipline to my child. I may not be the best mother but at least I have the heart of a mom and acting as one for Coi.

Unsuccessful Marriage

Even if it is not an ideal scenario, still it happens. There may be a lot of marriage set-up ending not successful. Sometimes, we try to question couples going through the situation and we assume that things are just so easy to handle. But we have to understand the reality that we couldn't grasp a thing unless we experienced it.

If you are a friend of someone who have been in that kind of broken relationship, you may or may not ask. Not that you need to tolerate the wrong doings but it's enough you have given advice and spoken of your opinion on the matter but do not ever interfere. You may symphatize on how they feel but do not insist in telling them what to do instead.

We need not put our shoes on theirs to grab an idea of what causes these things to happen. It is a fact that there are some irreconcilable differences between persons which both of them can no longer embraced and sometimes it would be better for them to part ways than stay on the relationship and eventually hurt each other more. There are issues which are hard for people to resolve. There are some portions in life where you can not force them to accept.

More often than not we just need to charge things to experience. Anyways, experience is the best teacher. Who knows? Hopes remain and the next time around they'll be able to carry the same instances with ease and adjust themselves to work a relationship out once and for all.

I love to cook. Kitchen is one of my favorite spots. Seldom that I failed in my cooking activity. Most of the time, what I cooked taste just right. But my boss isn't appreciative about it. He doesn't want to be asked about the taste of food. So I would rather not attempt.

But just last week I served him sauteed ampalaya (bittergourd)with egg for our lunch. That's the first time I heard him say that our viand was delicious. He ate a lot that time and that pleases me very much.

Even though he tends to say something lacks on everything I cook for him, still he takes more than I expect him to eat. That way I feel simply rewarded. Actions speak louder than words. Burp!

He usually gets annoyed everytime I would bite him; sometimes on his fingers, arms or shoulders. His wacky mood would also turn to its opposite if I would tease him of something about his past. Expect us to have petty quarrel when he sees me wearing dress with plunging necklines.

There may be a lot of things eventually leading to a non-serious argument but it is still better for me to avoid things that pisses him off and vice versa.

Perhaps it is even more important that you know each other very well and be able to determine which among the things you argue about are serious in its sense.

Have you been in a situation wherein you have a lot of things to say but you just can't utter any of those words? In as much as you would want to scream what's in your thoughts sometimes there's something within that controls you.

No one wishes for the worst scenario. Instinctively, you don't intend to hurt other people's feelings. However, there are times when you just have to say a little of what's in your mind and keep a portion of it.

If I could only spill out these negative emotions then I would probably do it instantly. It's hard. It is as if I am being pulled apart again.

We haven't been lost together so far with our usual means of transportation - my boss' motorcycle. More often than not he makes sure that the directions are clear going to our destination.

However, there was this one time that we almost end up fighting. I meet up with my friends in a subdivision here in Cavite while he is still in the office. I asked to just follow when his work is done. I gave him the sketch through a text message. I have got no question from him so I was confident then that he knows the place. When he is about to go to my friend's place we do text while he is on his way. Right then I realized that he is lost asa he assumed that the address I have given him is not a subdivision so he stopped from somewhere. He was so annoyed then and so am I as I knew I have given him enough of information. Good thing I was able to control myself and did not even bothered to get back at him in a negative way. Instead I tried to understand him that he was already tired plus the weather is extremely hot that time. Also, he had no choice but to see me as he almost ran out of fuel and the budget is with me. Hehe!

When he get to see me, it was apparent that he's not in the mood but he had to compose himself as that will be his first time to meet my college friends.We tried to talk things out on our way home and glad that no one was so persistent. We just shared our points and both accepted our faults.

Pessimistic Me Once More

Sometimes I wonder if it's me and my dirty mind who's at fault. Isn't it that I've got a fast mind to think ahead? I guess nothing's wrong with that but thinking the negative way was my usual problem. I don't know if it's because of lack of trust, or something that has to do with his history or was it brought about by my own experiences.

I hate arguments. I want to talk things out right away. I don't want any delay as that could even lead me to more negative thoughts. As such I tend to become too persistent and demanding yet I always long for understanding.

I need an assurance as I want to let go of this kind of character. I want to live again.

If there's one thing which easily pisses me off that is if I waited longer than expected. I really hate to wait the same thing as I hate to be late. Very seldom that I came late in an activity, so when there are plans of going out or something even myself just going to office; I make sure that everything has been set - I have thought about the things to bring, what to wear and just about anything. Maybe it's because I became naturally forgetful so I really have to make plans ahead of time. Hehe!

Most of the time I am excited to go out with my love regardless of where we are going as long as I am with him.

We do celebrate our monthsary which is of course every month just like teenage couples do. Hihi! However, the very moment after our most difficult encounter (so far) there was no extra special celebration that took place.

Even though it seems normal for us being together we treasure every minute of it. We just love each other that much and I hope that love stays with us and endures forever.

Comforting Myself on Tax Deductions

If I am not an accountant, I guess it would be harder for me to understand why my net pay this time just got this small considering we have our annual bonus paid as well. It is as if I didn't work for half a month and all I received is a pro-rated incentive equivalent to 75% (prorated).

Sometimes I would like to show angst against the government and the administrators as here we are ordinary people working harder as we can and yet they are sitting on the senate with their colleagues arguing on the millions of money stolen from the fund contributed by us people.

Where are their conscience? I wonder how they can take it feeding their family from something they did not work on.

I firmly believe that this is indeed one of the reasons why our country's progress is still hampered and will remain this way unless the government will change in favor of the Philippines and its people.

Better than Last Week

At least I am feeling better now.
I can somehow taste the food I eat and smell the fume I have sprayed just behind my ears.
A lot far better than last week.
Maybe the medications I am taking are helping me somehow.
Sometimes you really have to seek professional medical advice for some of the illness that your feeling may it not be that really serious.
While there are times that cough and colds seem very ordinary you still need to give yourself some kind of special attention because it is your health which is at stake.

Controlling the Pessimist in You

There are times when I can help myself to becoming a pessimist and inhabit some negative thoughts. In as much as I wouldn't want to start a quarrel or even a petty misunderstanding, that attitude is pulling me into it.

More often than not it is better to keep myself quiet but I still have to control myself on sudden burst of emotion as it could also lead me to something worst - an impulsive flow of expressions through my sharp tongue.

Still I guess it's best to talk things out in the soonest possible and available time but make sure to thoroughly weigh in your emotions, to carefully think where your words could lead you, its good effects as well as its consequences.

The story I've shared on CC last week relates to current topic. The same instance has brought me so much of emotion that led me to shed a large amount of tears. With a lot of sentiments I cried until I came to the point of running after my breath. That is simply because of the thought of losing each other at that very moment.

Good thing he was there to comfort me despite having his own sense of awful feeling due to our quarrel. When I finally stopped crying that's the time when we talked sincerely and seriously until we finally get to resolve the issue.

My blog Just for a Thought has now been transferred to another domain and hosting site. It gives me joy merely looking at its new face in its new home. I have been busy arranging all the stuffs related to it and even submitting it to some advertising sites.

Full of excitement, I exerted much effort on the very first site that gave me an opportunity but I was told by my friend that it is a bogus blog advertising site.

I have accomplished the post with all of the requirements and now I don't know if I will really be compensated by it.

CC: When We Thought its Over

I guess its more than a month ago since we had our hardest fight so far. We got into the point where I threw away his helmet after I asked him to stop the motorcycle, he left me literally alone in the dark (along the highway but he fetched me back) just because of few simple things that we've both misunderstood.

The quarrel started when I suddenly become quiet while we are in a night out. While we have not yet discussed things out, I opened it up to one of our companions during the night who happened to be (as we thought) one of his closest friends.

When his friend and me are already exchanging text messages on how my boss behaves at times, that friend started to give me some advice which are really against him. I almost felt betrayed and fooled on that moment and made myself realized that at least it is still early for me to learn about boss' purpose on me. In short, I was influenced by those words from a stranger that I almost did not listen to him and got mad at him so bad.

Glad we were able to talk things out and settle the issue on the same night. After a week had passed, that's the only time when we further apprehended that we almost lost each other just because of some persuasive words from a person which were yet unconfirmed. From then on our bond became even stronger and agreed that we must talk about things first prior to listening to other people's opinion. At least we learned from it and we have surpassed the instance when we have thought that it was already over between us.

Since then we're not fighting anymore. =)

Confused about Love

I am writing this post for a friend. If only I can give her the best advice that will make her feel better than she does.

I know how hard it is to fall in love at the wrong time - to fall for a person already taken by someone. The feelings may be right but the situation made it inappropriate.

Should I tell her to wait? Until when? Isn't it just giving her false hopes?

Should I advise her to fight for her feelings? I am not fully aware on how it was worth fighting for the man. I haven't had a grasp even a bit of the guy's personality.

I don't know if I am right telling her to do the things that make her happy.

Pursuing that kind of feeling is as if gambling and betting without you knowing the prize at stake.Getting yourself involved in such kind of situation is taking a risk and in the end you must be aware and ready for the consequences. =(

Am I Seeing The Sign Now?

I guess I have lost my interest. I once told myself that I will keep myself as I am in the meantime. I had no plans yet until something happened yesterday.

I almost lost my self-control. I have lost my respect. They just ruined my trust. My patience is almost gone.

One at a Time

Little by little as I replenish myself on the sudden loss of appetite in blogging, I am trying to maintain life balance still.

Obviously, it is not easy. A lot of things may have been sacrificed already but it should really be the set-up. We really cannot do things instantly at the same time so we might end up taking things on a piecemeal basis; evaluating the level of importance of each activity, putting into practice the method of prioritizing things and exercising the virtue of patience.

Yet there are times when we cannot help ourselves but to put things in a hurry - on that we must take some sort of caution.

Let us give it a try - one at a time.

Nafi - Our New Baby

Meet our new baby - Nafi. She got her name out of nowhere last February 14, 2011. She is a little light brown teddy bear with eyes, nose and paws all in gloomy brown shade. But she looks blooming and cheerful with the cute green ribbon tied in her neck.

She is just one of those simple things that tie us up together, a plain witness of our valued moments and an object of our precious love. She is a gift out of an effort that surprised me big time. I just love and appreciate so much even just the attempt of merely showing sweetness by means of Nafi.

I was with my new set of friends yesterday. We had few hours of witty talks and some moments of serious topics more about love and relationships. I have committed myself to write about yesterday's word of the day and that is "hindrance".

According to one of the folks I have chatted with, in every relationship there are these things that hinders you and it is only you and your partner who can work on those hindrances. Make yourself free from them so it won't affect your bond. Believe in yourself and establish in you the greatest armor of love - trust.

It's funny how things are getting better these days. Less of a quarrel, more quality time together, more witty conversations, and more dreams being built.

What if I continue to believe on those text messages? What if I stop myself from trusting him? What if, yes, there really are lots of what-ifs on my mind.

Nonetheless, I am pretty glad how things are going on right now. A little calm and quiet and I guess that's because of the virtue of patience and understanding that's reigning between us.

I am just wishing that we will remain to be strong despite of.♥

Me & My Boss: A Valentine Photo Contest

Our Human Resources (HR) Department has prepared several activities in line for the celebration of Valentine's Day.

Various company-wide contests will be held such as:

Chocolates in a Jar – employees will write their name on a piece of paper along with their guess on how many chocolates are there in the jar. The exact or closest number of answer will win.

Love Message Board – contest for funniest, sweetest or most touching valentine message.

Tweetums Shirt Contest – couple of any combination should wear a tweetums shirt , have their picture taken together to be submitted to HR.

Do-It-Yourself (DIY) Valentine Card Contest – contest for the most artistic and original valentine card.

Sweetest Photo with A Boss – a contest for printed sweetest picture of an employee with his/her superior.

Among all the contests mentioned above, I have made myself qualified for the last one as I've got a photo with my manager, taken last December 22, 2010 during our Christmas Team Dinner.

How to Handle Negative Criticism (Based on Personal Experience)

I felt like I am more of a celebrity ever since. My life is almost part of everyday gossips in the neighborhood. I have always been criticized by people around me. Some maybe true in any sense but most of their statements were merely brought about by their insecurities.

I was told that I will not be able to finish studying, not even high school. But here I am, and I have proven them wrong; graduated with flying colors, reached college and finished a degree.

I took their negative criticisms constructively and instill in my thought that whatever they would say I have not aggravated them in anyways aside from the fact that they are not the ones who's feeding me.

Taking words from people rests on how we are going to handle them. Some of these things may not seem so good to hear but we have a choice to use those words to establish ourselves and boost our own morale.

Tons of Greetings for My Birthday

I thought my birthday would be that sad and empty until I realized how people love me. I've got hundreds and hundreds of birthday messages posted on my facebook wall, plus those private and chat messages in the same networking site. Not to mention other on-line greetings and those messages I have got from my three mobile phone numbers.

I really have a lot of friends and I consider myself richer than anybody else. To all who have extended their wishes, thank you so much. You have made my day special than the usual. You just have made me appreciate my worth as a person. More than a material gift, it is really the thought that counts. Merely remembering my birthday is such an awesome present I could ever receive. But I guess I should also give thanks to FB, without the birthday reminder I would not probably gotten this much. Hehe!

Major, major thank you all! Thanks Dear Jesus for granting me another year and for giving me one more chance to change myself-the bad side of me (how I wish I really could do it in an instant). The Prodigal Son

Finally, after few months of being absent in holy masses, I was able to hear one yesterday. Admittedly, there really are times where I can't force myself to go to church. I have lost personal drive for quite some time and I am not blaming anybody about it by myself.

The feeling of relief and ease is really different when you have devoted at least a small portion of your time for HIM. It makes your day and even your entire week complete. And I guess, yesterday's gospel is just in proper timing.

It's about the Prodigal Son. Many times I have heard about this parable and the moral of the story was already instilled and retained in my mind.

That no matter how sinful we are, we are still important in the eyes of our Lord. We just need to approach HIM and repent for all the mistakes that we have committed and HE will welcome us and embrace us with joy and forgiveness.

It is September once again - my birth month. Just last year I celebrated my twenty-seventh birthday and obviously this time is gonna be my twenty-eighth year of existence already.

Last year, I was able to receive these two sets of flowers from two different men who have truly loved me I might say.

The three-red roses was given by my childhood friend now my ex-boyfriend while the dozen of white roses was given by my friend and former office mate now my fiance.

Well, it is just flattering to know that there really are these men who have exerted effort, shown love and respect in their own distinct ways. And I must say that they deserve to be loved in return but the love may not necessarily come from me.

Thank you guys for the love. I will always cherish memories with you. I'm glad we remain to be friends after all.

Frustrated Me

Honestly, I have become frustrated about blogging these days particularly in joining a meme. I have been discouraged further of an entry that was disapproved by the advertiser, a delayed payment for my opps, a slow Internet connection and on those bloggers I have chosen to follow but did not return the favor.

On the other hand, writing has been one of my passions and this thing I will not leave, not in any other sense. I may not update my articles that frequent on-line but I am still writing in another way. Writing is my best friend when nobody seems to be around. I will always recognize the ease and comfort it offers.

Sometimes I really feel deprived of showing the real me or expressing my real thoughts just as because I think about other people's feelings. Not bad maybe, but I guess I do not owe anybody an explanation on how I do things, on how I act on my life - basically it's mine.

I tend to be an offender at times but the intention is not really there. I mean , people are most often than not judgmental and it is but natural for them to interpret things on how they would want it to be. Well, that is basically their right and no one or nothing in any case can stop them from doing so. However, it will be more considerable if we will learn the virtue of sympathy. Why don't we put ourselves in the shoes of another? Things appear to be easier as it is at times but words are easier said than done.

I might be speaking to myself on this as I have the tendency to become perfectionist in an instance but still nobody's perfect. None of us was created to be the exact copy of our Maker. So let's try to recognize not just the mistakes committed by others and accept the fact that they too may not have the enough strength to carry things out on how it was supposed to be. Ouch!

Blessing in Disguise

After a few days of rest from blogging, I am now getting back to it. I suddenly lost the enthusiasm to write but I guess it was a blessing in disguise as I would not probably be able to act on my duties for yesterday's occasion.

I actually did a lot of activities. I helped in cleaning the house, cooked leche flan for dessert, arranged some things for the venue, did the grocery and just a while ago I did the laundry. I might not have done these if I did not pull myself temporarily away from my blogs.

Now that I am back, I am updating them all. On the other hand, I don't promise to do it everyday as I have to divide my time for my sports activities. Tomorrow I'll be on a badminton game then on the next day is going to be our volleyball practice.

I am so sorry. It is not my intention to imitate you. It just happened. I never thought it would come to this. My baby is a boy and I am not allowing him to watch something feminine in any sense so I do not let him watch you most of the time.

However, I have gotten too tired about my fly-away and tangled hair and have finally decided to ask the lady barber to cut it out.

Hehe! I actually had my hair cut in a salon last Sunday and I just asked the beautician to cut it straight. Surprisingly this was the result. Somehow, I don't like but just for a change I will let it stay this till it gets a little longer before I could have another hair style.

I know how to forgive and sometimes you need not say sorry just as to be forgiven. But I easily gets pissed about a thing that's repeatedly said and done. I bet anybody does not like the same scenario. This is really annoying for me specially if it involves critical matter.

Most of the times, he take things light and easy, as if there was really no problem or as if he can get things done in an instant while for me the issues are too sensitive and cannot just be left untouched.

It happened to us though I cannot fully share the details. Because of that we did not talk for quite some time. In cases like these, I always ask for space, for a time to contemplate about things in which I never want to hear anything from him even if he already said sorry and all. When we both get to realize things that makes our relationship stronger.

I just wish that there would always be a point of reconciliation between us, that he will never get tired of my perfectionist character. :)

This photo was taken when we first joined a Feast of Sto. Niño (Holy Child) procession. The activity was fun. There were a lot of Sto. Niño images which were brought to the parade, candies thrown on the streets and street dancing happens as people walk towards the church. This is being done once a year, every last Sunday of January in our area.

I have teased my friends lately why should I have to always be at second best?

But of course it was just a joke.

Thinking about it further is just to evaluate the realities of life.

Everyone of us has our own priorities.

Be it a thing, an activity or a person.

We may not always be considered best by some people but definitely there would always be someone who treats you more than you think is best for you.

Sometimes to be fair is one of the best characters; yet it is not bad to put someone on top based on your personal qualifications.

Qualifications which may not be the usual criteria for most people.

That is why we have our best friends, best possessions, best foods, best places and etc.

It really depends on how we consider a thing.

More often than not a person of the opposite sex which we have chosen as the best is the one we have opted to meet in front of the altar.

That definitely happens thinking that we have held someone who is really at their best only to realize in the end that someone was left out and you actually fell for somebody who is just a second best.

Regrets then follow. =(

Billiards Night_August 20, 2010

Unlike last Friday the 13th, this time I was able to join them. Though almost canceled we still managed to pursue the plan of playing billiards in a place where we just saw along the road few weeks back.

We decided to make it a little bit quick than the usual night out. Last week, they stayed until 2am but now we had it until 8pm.

Six (6) sets of 8-balls is not bad anymore. We have gotten ourselves in three (3) competing teams, Isay and Usyo, Dante and Me, and the girls who had so much rice on their chests Xye and Metz (peace!).

I can still remember how we have talked about playing billiard just one time on our way home. Dante asked Isay if she knows how to play it; firmly she answered "hindi, 8-balls lang" (no, just the 8-balls). We were hardly laughing that night on her response as billiards and 8-balls are two similar things, it is just that the 8-balls is a variation of playing billiard.

Among the six (6) games that we had, it is our team who got the most number of wins, four out of six, then the rest should be accounted to Usyo and Isay's tandem. However, it was not me who contributed much on winning, I guess I just had one or two balls in the hole for each set. We just discovered that Dante plays billiards so well.

While we were playing, there were food served on the side tables. We had 12packs of pancit canton, 7cups of rice, 2tins of corned beef and 2bottles of 1.5L softdrinks. Imagine how we had them get in to our stomach at one time. That really made us totally full and we ended up not spending more. Sometimes, it is more satisfying enjoying times together in a simple setting.

1. Do you have any nicknames and if so how did it come about?

- My father and my grandma usually call me "Nene", my friends use "Mhe-Anne" or sometimes just "Mhe" or just "Anne", my ex-office mates addressed me as "Mary" while in my current job they prefer "Odoño" (my surname) but there's this one unique nick name given by my ex-housemate and friend and it is "Merele", for whatever the meaning is, that I still don't know until now.

2. What is your birth order amongst your siblings?

- I am the oldest among eleven (11) children alive- six (6) of them are my half siblings from my father's side and four (4) from my mother's. I have a deceased brother who is actually older than I am but he lived for four (4) days only from the day he was born.

3. In a movie of your life, who would play your significant other?

- story yet to be written, have not yet decided... hehe!

4. What is currently your favorite song?

- Last of all days, I love the melody and the lyrics.

5. Are you saving your money for anything right now? Big or small purchase?

- Not really, I don't have any extra money to be saved, just enough for our daily living.

Sensitive Me

Lately I have noticed myself being extra sensitive.

I easily feel offended by my friends' jokes despite knowing that those were just joke really.

Even my mood swings have became apparent.

I simply get annoyed of things and I could not perceive my voice turning out louder than the usual.

Admittedly, these things do happen yet sometimes unintentional.

I am just thankful that I have such understanding friends who are now getting used to my character.

Just today I have assisted a friend on how to do things in order to have a blog. It was a success. He is now into it and his site was entitled Pom's Theory. He has decided to focus more on techie things being an IT professional. With his curiosity, determination and interest, I guess he has a lot to share.

Coinciding today's successful blog creation is the joy of knowing that my former office mate has finally made herself her master piece.

She is Miss Joy, my ex-boss. Aside from being the kindest boss ever, she is an ultimate pet lover. Her heart is on cats - she treats them more like human. And so her blog was named Meowl:All in a cat's life (.... - a reflection on life through the adventures of two beings: Tyler and Mok, cats who are gracious enough to share their point of views on human journeys.

With that, I am just so happy in welcoming them in the blogosphere. In no doubt, they will have fun especially when they came to the point of earning while enjoying their craft.

Ruby Tuesday: How Ruby Ended

I was not able to consistently watch Ruby as it was aired on the Kapamilya Network (Philippines' ABS-CBN Channel 2). I think I have seen its first parts only and the rest were just stories I heard from my office mates.

But last Friday, I did not let the night pass not watching the last and final episode. It has a sad ending though the best thing about it is the realization Ruby has went through.

From the mischievous type of a beautiful lady, she turned out to be a kind-hearted woman though possessing a scar on her face and her other leg amputated.

And I guess majority of people are basically like that, they let something awful happened prior to changing themselves for the better. Well, regrets and realization usually transpire in the end of every story - none really comes first as we never know what happens next.

Literally as it is, this will be my share for this week's Ruby Tuesday.

I happened to see this letter in between my bible's pages. I guess this was written seven (7) years back.

I love how it was written and the thought within its phrases, and I feel obliged to have it typed again here.

It has brought me back to the time when I felt so helpless , deeply hurt and affected by a relationship that was broken - a heartache indeed.

And now it just proves how time heals all wounds. I can simply laugh at all these things this time.

I really want to thank chitchay for always being there for me, for always lending her ears and for shedding her words of enlightenment just as for me to wake up from this nightmare.

I love surprises. I am a sentimental type of person. I am simply appreciative of things even if you hear me complaining often times. Not that I am bragging to much about myself but this is just a sort of introduction of how I want to thank a friend. I want to thank her for giving me this:

a pair of earrings from Isay

One day she asked me if I wear dangling earrings and I said I do, that I even have collections of them; some too long even reaching my shoulders. With that, I realized that she inquired on such because she was planning to give me this fine accessory. This thing I did not actually expect as I have not asked for it.

I have once told her that she was one of the nicest person I have ever met; she really is. Even if she has a lot to boast you will not hear a word from her. She remains to be humble and kind. She really is a thoughtful type of friend.

Thank you so much Isay. I just love it. I'll be wearing this on Monday.

It is indeed a wonderful feeling to be appreciated, to be recognized that you are doing something good especially during those times when you least expect it.

Just this afternoon, I was so surprised when one of my colleagues approached me and said "Hi Mhe-anne! I like your blogs". We had never bumped in nor had even just a petty conversation. All I know is that he is one of my closest friends' special someone and we are FB friends. I really did not expect that I have constant followers even if I did not personally ask them to read my senseless bragging at times (as I usually tell some of my friends to visit my sites for traffic, hehe!).

I just want to thank Chris Goldman for expressing such heartwarming remarks.Hope you won't get tired of reading my piece of writing. It is very much appreciated.

Sick Again

I went home from office not feeling so well. I guess I was greatly affected of today's weather.

We were obliged to attend a company wide meeting in one of our facilities within the CEPZA compound today. Prior to getting to my office mate's car is a slight rain which I have ignored. I neither attempted to use an umbrella nor cover my head with something such as a hanky for a sort of shield. Reaching the place and alighting from the car is of the same scenario - drizzle strikes on our way to the basketball court where the meeting was held.

During the entire gathering is such an uncomfortable feeling for us, humid and hot. We were almost bathing on our own sweat.I guess these instances brought me into this kind of feeling.

Back to my work station, I was already experiencing terrible headache, colds came out and I am now barking like a dog.

This just proves that irregular and interchanging weather conditions bring illness so we might as well take extra care for ourselves so we can avoid getting sick.

Ramadan 2010

I have Muslim friends. I see them nice opposite to the usual notions that we hear. And I do admire them on how they observe their holiest of months which they termed "Ramadan".

Ramadan is a month when Q'uran was revealed. It involves those days of prayer and fasting in which majority of them strictly follow. I remember I had Muslim classmates before during my review classes. They do get out of the class just as to pray regardless whether they miss a lesson or not. They do respect moments of prayer.

How I wish we can be like them in honoring our own Allah (ouch for me!). We should also observe having intimate communication with Jesus. It may not be at the same time and approach as how they do it but we can join them in their objective of continuously praising the Lord.

I bet some of us are just excited for the end of Ramadan as it means another non-working holiday. Am I Right?

August 11, 2010 is the start of Ramadan for this year and will end on September 09, 2010.

It's Okay to Get Mad

Sometimes it's just okay to get mad. By being mad you get hold of what you're asking. By being mad you tend to realized things right after you have released the elements of anger.

Why am I telling you this? Because if I didn't get mad my internet connection will not probably be back till this time. Yes, you read it right. My connection is already fixed after I got totally mad yesterday. I may not have gotten angry to the rightful person but at least my angst was sent for appropriate action.

Thank you to those who have settled this trouble. It may have taken longer than expected but at least it is already resolved now. Better late than never.

A Very Important Visitor at Home

These past few weeks, I must admit that we do not go to church on a regular basis every Sunday. And I am so glad that we were given a chance for something like this.

Mama Mary is our newest companion. Her image was brought to our house and will stay there for a week. It means a week of prayer for us at home. I am hoping that the peace she brings will stay as well and will remain with us even when she leaves.

It is just so unfortunate that her visit coincided with our busy season in office so it is seldom that I join them praying the rosary.

I do believe in Mama Mary being Jesus' mother. I am wishing that she will continue to guide us and help us with our prayers.

Tropang Utot-Incomplete

I wonder what they are doing right now, perhaps they are holding on a bottle of beer, eating something, laughing at each other’s funny thoughts. I guess they are enjoying the night together, the three of them Isay, Usyo and Dante; even without me, even without us. Bitter??? Hehe!

They could possibly be talking about me at this very instance or about the rest of the members who were not able to accompany them.

I am just speculating, simply because I am not part of tonight’s gimmick. It is very seldom that I decline invitations especially those made by them. The situation left me no choice that’s why I did not join. However, it could also be counted to my advantage as I would not have to spend something extra that could worsen my budget dilemma. Also, I should not discount the fact that every moment I spend with Coi is more to my treasures.

I just noticed that for the past few gimmicks never we did get complete attendance. Most of the time it was Jackie who was out of the scene due to her Maternity Leave last week it was Isay and for tonight Xyra and me are both absent.

Even though I am thinking about a lot of maybes this time; I still wish that they will enjoy the night and that they will arrive home safely. Hopefully, next time would be a night of perfect attendance.

Today is just another unforgettable day for me. You know why? Because today is the very first day I got my very first opps of my own.

I am just so happy about it. I have it posted already and now I am just waiting for the approval. I am keeping my fingers crossed on this. Hope my entry would be qualified.

I get back to my enrollment and found out that the very first URL I have submitted was approved a month ago, that was June 28, 2010. I just finished enrolling my other sites. I just wish that in the next thirty (30) days, I will get another offer to be written in these sites. :)

Negative Emotions Make Me Sick

I guess my ex-boss was right when she told me that my negative emotions are making me sick. Looking at my body-built you will never see in me that I am a person who usually gets ill. But these past few days were as if the evidence of it all. I've got colds, cough and slight fever and I think I have them until now. And they're not leaving me along with my emotions that get higher and higher everyday.

I'm trying to release them all so I'll be fine but then some people are still pushing me through it. I might come up to the losing end because of this but I can't help myself up. I am mad, I am angry, I am depressed, I am frustrated, I really feel so miserable this time. And I don't know what can make me happy.

I transferred job, to enjoy the convenience of the location, to avoid the long travel time, to give myself more time for my son and for my own leisure and activities even if it has somehow directed me to a downward career path. I don't intend to forget that I am a mother to my son, I just want to benefit from a balanced-life.

And now I am being misinterpreted, how can I relax? With all those unfair criticisms thrown at me. This is really pulling me down.

I want to start my week right. I'll try to think of happy thoughts by tomorrow and follow Niko's principle - Honor Your Own Truth.

Expect the Expected

This will be my last post for tonight as I must go to bed earlier than the usual. I should prepare myself for tomorrow as I was given the chance to do something noble. I will be donating a part of me and it's gonna be my blood.

I was in college when I started to try the deed. There was this program of medicine students hand in hand with the Philippine Red Cross whereas they looked for students whom are willing to donate a blood. I was so fortunate then that I passed the screening. That was the first time I learned about my blood type which is "O". From then on, every time I encounter similar programs I usually acts as a donor.

Donating blood is a charity work. It is a selfless act. It is a life saving move. Consequently, it is not just a third party people who benefits from this but definitely yourself as it is in fact a cleansing process for your body. The prick of a needle may be painful somehow but you don't actually lose a thing. You even gain from it as your blood will instantly be renewed.

I wish I will pass the screening again as I have skipped from donating blood since when I got pregnant (two years back). And wishing further that along with the blood that will be taken away from me are the negative thoughts I have in my mind right now.

My Emotion Rocks

Funny how my emotions move. Up and down, sway side by side and round and round.

Just the other day I was happy and thankful.

Yesterday I was sad and thankful.

Now I am confused and still thankful.

Mood swings really. PMS? Probably.

I have received series of advice which are really really very good, but I don't know what's keeping me from not doing them.

I wanted to shout but I preferred silence instead.

As of now, I just want to keep myself quiet and let my hands do the talking.

Others might not notice but I am really feeling tired. Tired of everything physically, mentally, emotionally.

I Feel Deprived

I live at my own house, a house I invested from my own labor and earnings but it seems like it isn't mine at all.

I am Angry

Angry at me, as I wanted to speak up but I can't.

I am Sick

I really am not feeling well but seems like I should not act as one.

I am Emotionally an Mentally Stressed

With a lot of questions buzzing my mind, with all problems I want to be resolved and all the difficulties I am facing right now.

I am Guilty

Of something I could not reveal.

Maybe I am totally upset.

Despite all these, I am still thankful though I was not able to control my emotion today.

relationship. What keeps a relationship strong?

Communication, intimacy, trust, a sense of

humor, sharing household tasks,

some getaway time without business or children

and daily exchanges (a meal,

shared activity, a hug, a call, a touch, a

note). Leave a nice message on

their voicemail or send a nice email.

Sharing common goals and interests. Growth is

important. Grow together, not

away from each other, giving each other space to

grow without feeling

insecure. Allow your mate to have outside

interest. You can't always be

together. Give each other a sense of belonging

and assurances of

commitment. Don't try to control one another.

Learn each other's family

situation. Respect his or her parents

regardless. Don't put pressure on

each other for material goods. Remember for

richer or for poorer.

If these qualities are missing, the relationship

will erode as resentment,

withdrawal, abuse, neglect, dishonesty, and pain

replace the passion.

Wedding Color Motif - Pink & Green Combination

Even before, when there's no wedding plan yet, I have already decided on what is going to be my color motif. It should be a combination. And because green is my favorite, this should not be left in consideration. As I thought about the other color to match with it, I wanted something feminine that made me chose pink.

Isn't it a lovely combination? Well, I guess it will still depend on the shades of green and pink to be used which I have not finalized yet. And so whatever happens, whenever it may be Pink and Green will remain as my theme.

I Am Happy

There's more to life for me to be thankful about, especially these days.

And I am just so happy, happy because:

We were safe from typhoon "basyang's" attack
I was able to pay my utilities (innove, meralco, etc.)
I got back my internet connection
I have got more commissioning job
I now have my own domain (big thanks Niko)
Macoi is doing well, growing intellectually active everyday
"Lola: is free from sickness
Tita is in good mood
I am secured at heart
I am healthy
Dadi is safe as well
My friends, families, officemates and relatives are out of harm
Etc.

In no particular order, I am thankful about everything and grateful that I am still alive amidst life difficulties.

How?

How am I going to activate my pay pal account if my yahoo mail doesn’t load? How am I going to monetize my blogs and earn from it? How I am going to have more friends in the blogosphere if I am not able to blog hop? I am using my MS Word 2007 to write blogs and later upload them to blogger. And uploading is not easy too. I have to extend a lot more patience waiting for an article to be uploaded and be viewed. And most of the time, it fails.

I wish it is not a personal sabotage. Well, maybe I am just a victim of an on-line attack as I am not guilty about something to be harmed that way.

This time all I want is to get back to my usual internet connection just like when it was initially installed. I also would like to eliminate those viruses that spreading here in my desktop.

This has become the other portion of my life. Without it, how can I pursue my hobby of sharing thoughts? How can I keep in touch with friends more frequently? How can I learn things through on-line researches? How can I scout for more stuff? How? How? How?

Frustrated Me

Frustrated Me

I am not so happy today as I seem to be.

Just had another weigh in, only to find out that I have regained the pounds I've already lost.

I guess I was wrong when I assumed I would weigh a little less than my last attempt as I am now able to wear my blouse which doesn't fit me a couple of days back.

I think I have to get back to my personal WRP as I have already stopped after losing 5lbs.

This may be the real reason why I broke my office chair - I must admit that I am in fact heavy.

Good thing I am still beautiful. Hehe! I am just trying to cheer myself up.

I am sad about it still. :(

My Broken Office Chair

My office chair broke this afternoon when I am about to sit on it and since I am one of the Environment, Health and Safety Committee in our office I had to report my own safety miss experience.

"Hi Sir,

This is to report the incident of a broken chair which exactly happened to me.

Around 1pm today (July 07, 2010), after our lunch break (which we spent playing table tennis at training room 4), I proceeded to my work station (here at Admin-Finance Office) to get back to my tasks. When I am about to sit in my chair there was a crack sound beneath and I instantly fell from it. My chairs' feet shattered. Good thing I was not fully seated so I was able to get up so quick and glad I haven't got any injury.

Apparently, I don't look so heavy and I am not even that weighty to be blame. Kidding aside, it could be that the chair was old enough to serve at its original capacity.

Accordingly, maybe we could initiate series of inspections with our office chairs to avoid the same occurence.
